WATERING NEEDS | To care for your air plants, simply spritz them with water every 1-2 days. Alternatively, you can fill a bowl with water and submerge the air plants for 20-60 minutes each week. After watering, be sure to turn the plants upside down to allow any excess water to drain away.

FERTILIZING NEEDS | For optimal growth, use an air plant-specific or bromeliad fertilizer a few times a year. If you prefer, you can also use a regular, water-soluble houseplant fertilizer, but dilute it to 1/4 of the recommended strength.

SOIL, SUN, AND POTTING | Air plants absorb moisture through their leaves, so there is no need for soil. Simply place them inside the decorative container or arrangement of your choice. These plants thrive in indirect sunlight; too much direct sunlight can cause them to "fry."
